The opening round of the NTT IndyCar Series at Barber Motorsports Park will be pushed back one week.
The organizers have chosen to move the race to Sunday 18 April.
The Indycar drivers will now have to do four races in three consecutive weekends, since the St. Petersburg race, which originally was the opening round of 2021, was moved to 25 April.
The change from 11 to 18 April will put the race on NBC in the USA, since the 18 April was the original date for the Long Beach Grand Prix – that was moved to September 2021, in the latter part of 2020.
So the series currently comprises the schedule, without ditching any races so far.
