United Autosports has set their driver line-up for car #32 for the upcoming European Le Mans Series 2021 season.
Job van Uitert and Manuel Maldonado has been announced over the last few months, Nico Jamin was announced as the third and final driver today.
Jamin brings several seasons of experience from Duqueine Engineering and Panis Racing, from which he knows all the tracks in the ELMS, having raced them all in an ORECA 07 LMP2 car.
He has participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with the third position in 2020 with Panis Racing being his best result. The ELMS deal includes Le Mans 2021, but he will have a least one alternative teammate, since Job van Uitert already is signed up at Racing Team Nederland for that race.
The French driver is usually known for consistent and safe racing when he is in the car.
With an age of just 25, he will be the oldest driver in the car, since van Uitert is only 22, and Maldonado will turn 22 later this year.
United Autosport will also enter a second car in the ELMS LMP2, with Phil Hanson and Tom Gable being the announced drivers for that #22. They will also run two cars in LMP3, with most of the drivers already being set here too.
The European Le Mans Series is scheduled to start on 18 April at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
