ARC Bratislava ready with four drivers

ARC Bratislava is ready for the FIA World Endurance Championship 2021.

The Slovakian team will enter their first full FIA WEC season, competing in their Ligier JS P217 Gibson in the LMP2 Pro/Am category.

Team owner Miro Konopka is of course the first choice regarding the drivers. He has chosen to sign up Oliver James Webb for the full season – with the exception of the opening round, which clashes with a racing series in the United Kingdom. Webb will be replaced by Darren Burke at Spa Francorchamps. Burke has previously raced for ARC Bratislava in the Asian Le Mans Series.

Webb has raced for ByKolles Racing Team in the LMP1 category for the past few years but raced in LMP2 prior to that.

The third driver at Spa will be Tom Jackson. The 24-year-old Brit has raced in British GT amongst other things, but the LMP2 car is by far the quickest that he has driven so far.

The team will stick to the well-known yellow livery, that has been on everything from a Lamborghini via LMP3 to LMP2 cars throughout the years.

The first round of the FIA World Endurance Championship 2021 will be run at Spa Francorchamps on 1 May.
