ACO reveals future plans

Automobile Club de l’Ouest has revealed their future plans regarding the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and the FIA World Endurance Championship and the European Le Mans Series. The cars will race on brand new, 100% renewable fuel from TotalEnergies. The French company has been the sole supplier to the series since 2018, where they took over from Shell. 6 races on FIA WEC 2022 schedule

The FIA World Endurance Championship has announced their 2022 schedule. The schedule will once again be 6 races, just like the 2021 edition. The season starts on 12-13 March at Sebring, with two days of Prologue, ahead of the 1000 Miles (max 8 hours) being run at the same circuit on 18 March. IDEC Sport 17 pulls out of Le Mans

There won’t be a blue ORECA 07 Gibson car with number 17 on the side panels, once the 2021 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans start tomorrow, Saturday. Era Motorsport, which is the team behind the IDEC Sport #17 car, has chosen to pull out, after a true nightmare weekend for them.
