Vector Sport is the latest team to announce their entry in the FIA World Endurance Championship 2022.
The team with British base near Silverstone, and plans to run a single ORECA 07 Gibson LMP2 in the upcoming season.
Nico Müller is the first announced driver for the team. Müller still has strong connections to Audi Sport but with very limited experience in prototype racing. The Swiss racer has a single start in the FIA WEC, where he raced for G-Drive Racing at Shanghai 2017. He mostly has experience from GT3 and DTM racing, but has raced a few years in Formula E too.
Vector Sport will have Gary Holland as team principal. Holland has experience with teams like JOTA, Risi Competizione, and most recently at Dragon Racing in Formula E. He knows everything about Müller from there.
The two other drivers for the team are not announced just yet.
The FIA WEC season 2022 is scheduled to start at Sebring International Raceway in the middle of March.
