CGR ready with the final drivers

Cadillac Chip Ganassi Racing has announced their plans prior to the 2022 season in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Renger van der Zande and Sebastien Bourdais will be sharing Cadillac DPi-V.R #01 for the full 2022 season. They will get extra help for the 24 hours by no other than Scott Dixon and Alex Palou, with a total of seven Indycar titles, on top of the four Champcar titles by Bourdais. Tower runs IMSA again

Tower Motorsport will once again run in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship for the 2022 season. Team boss John Farano will return behind the wheel, but has swapped all his teammates for the ORECA 07 Gibson, just as he has changed the team running the car. Capone Motorsports has taken over from Starworks Motorsports, who has run the car until now. Louis Deletraz will be the full-season driver alongside Farano throughout the 2022 season. The defending LMP2 Pro/Am Champions in the European Le Mans Series, G-Drive Racing, will return once again in 2022. G-Drive Racing has once again made a deal with Algarve Pro Racing, who will run the car in the ELMS. The defending Champion, John Falb is back again. He will however be joined by two new teammates.
