JOTA will once again change their colours, ahead of the 2022 FIA World Endurance Championship season.
The British team has pretty much been using the full-colour palette over the past few years.
They ran G-Drive Racing orange in 2016. They moved to red and black, with a lot of Chinese signs on the cars, when they ran under the Jackie Chan DC Racing banner before Goodyear blue and yellow was the choice for the 2019/20 season.
The 2021 season was British Racing Green, with a slight hint of red, but a very different kind of green is on the ORECA 07 Gibson cars for this year.
They will be shocking green for the 2022 FIA WEC season, with even less red on the cars. This resembles more of what their McLaren 720S GT3 car ran with throughout 2021 – but just taking the green to an even more extreme level.
This will no doubt make the cars easier to spot on the track, and in the mirrors of the competitors, which can be a huge issue in multiclass racing.
The team has previously announced Oliver Rasmussen, Jonathan Aberdein and Ed Jones teaming up in car #28, while Mighty #38 continues with Roberto Gonzalez and Antonio Felix da Costa for another year, while the retired Anthony Davidson will be replaced by Will Stevens.
The FIA World Endurance Championship 2022 starts on 18 March at Sebring International Raceway in Florida, USA.
