The seats for the 2022 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans are slowly filling up.
CD Sport #27 will enter their first 24 Hours of Le Mans. The French team has bought the Ligier JS P217, which Eurointernational drove in the 2020 event.
They earned their place on the 24 hours grid, thanks to the LMP3 title in the Asian Le Mans Series in February 2022, and it will be a mix of three drivers from that effort. Christopher Cresp was the initial announcement, along with their name on the entry list, when it was revealed a month ago. He will be joined by Steven Palette and Michael Jensen.
The team has opted to run in the LMP2 Pro/Am category, due to the ranking of their drivers.
AF Corse Ferrari #61 also sorted their three drivers. Louis Prette has chosen to team up with Vincent Abril once again, just like they did at the 2019 edition of the race. They will be joined by Conrad Grunewald as the third driver in GTE Am. The three already raced together in the 2022 Asian Le Mans Series, but this will be the first Le Mans for American racer Grunewald.
Abril also participated in the 2020 edition of the race, where he raced for MR Racing, in Car Guy colours, alongside Takeshi Kimura and Mikkel Jensen.
The 2022 edition of the 24 hours race will be run on 11-12 June.
