BMW starts LMDh test – confirms Le Mans

BMW has started their testing with their brand new LMDh car, and confirms their return to Le Mans. The new BMW M Hybrid V8 drove the first meters yesterday at Varano in Italy, near the Dallara factory. BMW has chosen Italian manufacturer Dallara to build the car, which is based on a LMP2 car, but with added hybrid system, it’s own bodywork, and a custom-made BMW engine. First two Lambo drivers announced

Lamborghini has announced their first two drivers for their upcoming LMDh programme. It comes to no surprise, that those two drivers are Mirko Bortolotti and Andrea Caldarelli, since those two has been synonymous with the Italian brand for many seasons. Bortolotti had a single season with Audi in 2020, before returning to the Italian brand, that he has raced with since 2014, and been official works driver for since 2015 – except for 2020.
