ARC Bratislava has chosen to skip the next round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, which will be held at Fuji International Speedway in two weeks time.
The Slovakian team has had a difficult year in the FIA WEC 2022, with a heavy shunt and subsequent retirement at the 6 Hours of Spa Francorchamps cost them a lot of points.
The 2022 season is the second FIA WEC season for the Miro Konopka led team. They started the 2021 season with a Ligier JSP 217, before moving to an ORECA 07 later in the year. That did help in regards to the lap times, but they are sadly still at the back of the field. They have received technical support from Algarve Pro Racing during the 2022 season, but an ever changing line-up – except for the team boss himself – has made it really tough for the team, to find some solid pace in the car.
There are two rounds remaining of the FIA WEC 2022 – 6 Hours of Fuji in two weeks’ time, and the 8 Hours of Bahrain on 12 November.
