Wright Motorsports and VOLT Racing in collaboration

Wright Motorsports has made a new partnership with VOLT Racing for the upcoming IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season.

The two worked together in 2022 in Michelin Pilot Challenge, which is a step just below IWSC.

VOLT Racing will step into the big scene in 2023, where Alan Brynjolfsson and Trent Hindman will share the brand new Porsche 992 spec 911 GT3 R car in the GTD category.

The team haven’t announced their two extra drivers for the endurance opener at Daytona, nor the single endurance driver for Sebring, Watkins Glen and Petit Le Mans.

Wright Motorsports has previously had a lot of IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship success – Ryan Hardwick actually finished the 2022 GTD season as the best Bronze driver, earning him an entry for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which he will take up with Proton Competition.

The ROAR test will run at Daytona International Speedway from the 20 January 2023, with the actual 24 hours race being run one week later.
