High Class back in IMSA

High Class Racing is ready for the second season in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

The Danish LMP2 team has once again teamed up with Dennis Andersen as a full-season driver. The Dane has been racing their LMP2 cars since 2017, when the team first entered the European Le Mans Series. He has also been a part of the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the team. They have also done a full FIA WEC season.

He will be sharing the car with Ed Jones throughout the full 2023 season. Jones has previously raced in Indycar, but switched to full-time sportscar racing in 2022, where he raced for JOTA in the FIA WEC. He will do all the LMP2 races in the USA.

Anders Fjordbach has always been racing alongside Andersen, but this year he will only be racing in the four Michelin Endurance Cup rounds, which are Daytona, Sebring, Watkins Glen and Petit Le Mans. Fjordbach also has a role of responsibility for the team, so he will have more time for that throughout the 2023 season.

Raffaele Marciello will be joining them for the Rolex 24 only. The Swiss-Italian has been racing for Mercedes for many years, but will have the chance of driving an ORECA 07 Gibson under racing conditions.

The Rolex 24 at Daytona 2023 will be run on 28-29 January, with the ROAR test one week earlier.
