United Autosports has announced the three drivers for their second entry in the 2023 Asian Le Mans Series.
Oliver Jarvis will be the experienced driver in the car, and he will guide Yasser Shahin and Garnet Patterson to success with the #23 ORECA 07 Gibson.
Shahin and Patterson tested for the team during the Rookie test in Bahrain in November.
Shahin has a lot of experience in GT racing in Australia, where he has won several championships. On top of that, he is the part owner of The Bend Motorsports Park, which Asian LMS visited in 2020, before COVID-19 put a stop to a lot of travelling around Asia.
Patterson already raced for United Autosports in the 2022 Michelin Le Mans Cup with a Ligier JS P320 LMP3 car. He has a bit of LMP2 experience from the Asian Le Mans Series, where he competed at The Bend round three years ago.
The team will switch some for them untraditional orange colours. The design will remind you of the RLR MSport design, since UA usually sticks to red and blue colours.
The Asian Le Mans Series 2023 starts on 11 February at Dubai Autodrome, while the final will be held at Yas Marina Circuit on 19 February.
