Gradient with two new drivers

Gradient Racing will enter the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in 2023, with two new drivers to the team.

Sheena Monk and Katherine Legge will be the two drivers, racing the white and green Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 in all the IMSA rounds in the GTD category.

They will be joined at the opening round at Daytona by Mario Farnbacher and Marc Miller.

This will be the first full season for Gradient Racing. They have slowly added more and more races to their programme, making the very grand step now.

Monk will make her debut in the IMSA series, after having competed in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America over the past seasons, so she knows most of the tracks.

Legge has raced for many seasons in IMSA, and not least the Acura racing car. She was actually very close at winning the Championship with previously mentioned Farnbacher, before she started a bit of a round trip, going to Lambo and Porsche – in addition to an LMP2 programme which never really got underway, due to a serious testing accident, resulting in several broken bones. That accident ended her 2020 season, before it really got going.

The 2023 season starts with the ROAR test at Daytona International Speedway on 20-22 January, with the 24 hours race on the following weekend.
