Porsche Penske Motorsport has named their three drivers, for the extra entry at the 2023 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
That will be three of the drivers, who are also active in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, who is going to help out at the French Classic.
Nick Tandy and Mathieu Jaminet usually share a Porsche 963 in the American series, but they will be joined by Felipe Nasr from the other car.
In the meantime, the regular co-driver of Nasr, Matt Campbell, will be in a reserve driver role for all three cars, in case something should happen to any of the nine drivers.
Porsche Penske Motorsport also runs another two cars in the 24-hour race, which is part of the FIA WEC. Those cars are shared by Michael Christensen, Fred Makowiecki and Dane Cameron in #5, while Andre Lotterer, Kevin Estre and Laurens Vanthoor share car #6.
Tandy, Nasr, and Jaminet will race car #75, since it’s 75 years since the very first Porsche car under their own name.
The 24 Hours of Le Mans 2023 will run on 10-11 June.
