Doriane Pin will sadly miss out on the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2024.
The French racing driver was going to race for the Iron Dames outfit, who participates with a Lamborghini Huracan LMGT3 EVO2, but she unfortunately broke some ribs during her Formula Regional European Championship powered by Alpine (FRECA). She will put her focus on getting ready for the next round of the F1 Academy, which will be held at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 21-23 June.
So that makes the Iron Dames team consist of Sarah Bovy, Michelle Gatting and Rahel Frey, just like they do in the European Le Mans Series, and at the 6 Hours of Spa Francorchamps earlier this month.
The original plan was for Pin to do the full FIA WEC season with the team, while Frey was going to do the ELMS races. The FRECA programme was only finalized very late, and that resulted in Pin going to do Le Mans only, and then her sportscar year 2024 would be over.
The 92nd Edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will be run on 15-16 June 2024.
