Cadillac Racing has announced their two teams for the upcoming 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
It’s officially announced now, that there will be three official Cadillac V-Series.R for next season.
Action Express Racing will continue with a single car, just like they have done for the past many seasons.
Wayne Taylor Racing will return to the GM brand, with whom they were associated with for so many years, prior to becoming an Acura works team.
The drivers for the there cars will be announced at a later stage, but it’s already known that Pipo Derani won’t be returning for the AXR team, but want to try something new.
The teams will be called Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing and Cadillac Whelen.
Cadillac Racing has won nine championship titles since 2025, plus five Michelin Endurance Championship manufacturer titles, and a total of 69 race wins, with 30 of those coming in the DPi/GTP era since 2017.
It was announced earlier in the year, that their current partner, Chip Ganassi Racing, no longer would run any Cadillac racers in 2025, in neither the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship nor the FIA World Endurance Championship. Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA was announced as the new team in the FIA WEC.
