UA with full FIA WEC line-up

United Autosports has presented all six drivers for their FIA World Championship programme for 2025.

Car #95 was completed a couple of weeks ago, with Marino Sato, Darren Leung, and Sean Gelael teaming up, and today we got to know the two teammates of Gregory Saucy’s in the McLaren 720S LMGT3 Evo #59.

That will be James Cottingham, who will do his second season for UA, and Sebastien Baud, who will debut for the team.

Cottingham and Saucy were teammates through 2024, where they managed to finish right outside the podium three times during the season, but with Cottingham as one of the fastest Bronze drivers in the series. Nicolas Costa was the third driver of the car, but there is no space for him at UA for 2025.

That spot is taken over by Sebastien Baud. Baud will be joining from TF Sport Corvette, where he made his FIA WEC debut in 2024. Baud finished the year off with a podium in Bahrain, but TF Sport has chosen to replace him with ELMS LMP2 Champion Jonny Edgar, who will be the super-Silver driver next to Daniel Juncadella and Ben Keating.

Which means almost all the seats are taken taken for the 2025 campaign.

Three driver names from Iron Lynx in their brand new Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 cars are yet to be revealed.

There are six names still missing at Team Heart of Racing Aston Martin, with their two Hypercar entries and their single LMGT3 car.

Alpine Endurance Team and Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA have not announced their exact driver combinations, but that is only a matter of days, if not hours, since the entry list for the opening round in Qatar will be released within a few days.

The FIA WEC 2025 starts on 28 February at Lusail International Circuit, with several days of testing leading into that.

All the confirmed drivers so far can be found here (the list will be getting continuous updates).
