The Heart Of Racing Aston Martin has announced their three drivers for the upcoming FIA World Endurance Championship 2025 season.
Ian James was the first driver, who was announced, back when the Entry list for the season was announced back in November.
The team announced today, that Mattia Drudi will have his FIA WEC debut, while Zacherie Robichon returns to the team and the FIA WEC, after having driven for the team in 2024 in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, and for Proton Competition Ford in the FIA WEC 2024.
Drudi is one of the newer names at Aston Martin Racing, after having driven Porsche cars in series like Porsche Supercup. Drudi claimed his probably biggest win of his career, when he won the Spa 24 Hours 2024 alongside Marco Sørensen and Nicki Thiim. He has been a long time driver in various SRO series for the past few seasons.

Ian James will be doing his third FIA WEC season. He took over the Northwest AMR entry, after the first two rounds of the 2023 season, where Paul Dalla Lana chose to end his career. James and The Heart of Racing were fast to pick up that entry, resulting in their Le Mans debut, just a month later.
The team finished fifth in the LMGT3 category in 2024, where James shared the car with Alex Riberas and David Macinelli. Riberas has moved on to the brand new Aston Martin Valkyrie LMH, where he will be racing in car #009, while Harry Tincknell will be racing car #007. The remaining drivers will be revealed in due course.
The FIA World Endurance Championship 2025 starts on 28 February in Qatar, with several days of testing leading into that.
