Peugeot TotalEnergies has announced their driver combinations for the upcoming 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship season.
As they revealed a couple of months ago, there are going to the changes in the two cars.
Paul Di Resta will remain onboard car #93, just like he did for all seasons except the 2024 season. He will be joined by Nick Cassidy and Stoffel Vandoorne. Vandoorne and Di Resta were teammates in 2024, so they already know each other. Cassidy has parallel programme in Formula E, but there are no race day clashes between the two series in 2026. He will however miss out a bit of the Prologue in Qatar, since there is a Formula E race in Madrid, coming into the FIA WEC Prologue.

Malthe Jakobsen and Loic Duval will continue to work together in car #94, where Theo Pourchare will be the third driver. The three drivers shared the car at the 2025 season finale in Bahrain, and it appeared to run very smooth. Jakobsen and and Duval had Vandoorne as their teammate for most of the 2025 season, until the Belgian racer left following the race in Japan. He wasn’t present in Bahrain – only to be announced shortly after the race weekend, replacing Jean-Eric Vergne, who will focus on Formula E, plus test- and development of the new Formula E car for Stellantis, and for Peugeot, who has a replacement for the 9X8 in the pipeline for the 2027 season.
The team has said goodbye to Mikkel Jensen, who just like Duval and Di Resta, was one of the initial drivers for the programme, announced back in 2021. Jensen has been hired by United Autosports, where he currently races in the Asian Le Mans Series, and the upcoming 24 hours race in Daytona.
The FIA WEC 2026 season starts on 28 March at Lusail International Circuit in Qatar.
