Alpine presents colors and the drivers

Alpine Endurance Team has announced the driver combinations and colors for their last season in the FIA World Endurance Championship.

The French team made the announcement last week, that they will pull their A424 as a works car, once the 2026 season is over.

Car #35 will have Charles Milesi, Ferdinand Habsburg and Antonio Felix da Costa sharing driving duties. Milesi and Habsburg have been in the programme since the very start, and were there for the first A424 victory in Japan 2025.

Antonio Felix da Costa has Hypercar experience with the JOTA team, where he was driving the Porsche 963 model in 2023.

Once season 2026 starts, we will see a full switch of the drivers in car #36, since the start in 2024. Frederic Makowiecki and Jules Gounon will stay in the car this year, and they will be joined by Victor Martins. Martins gets his sportscar debut with the team this year, after being on a route towards Formula 1, having raced in FIA Formula 2. But there is no available spot in F1 right now, so the Alpine Junior driver gets a sportscar seat instead.

Makowiecki joined the team for the 2025, having raced for Porsche Penske Motorsport. The French driver has a lot of experience in both prototypes and GT cars, and will try to get a podium for the team, before the car is rolled into the garage for one final time.

Gounon has been amongst the driver crew since the start, originally being a test- and reserve driver, but he was quickly drafted in as a race driver, when Habsburg had a nasty accident prior to Round 2, where the Austrian broke his back. Gounon did so well thast he was upgraded to a full season driver in 2025 in the #36, and has been a part of the race squad ever since.

The FIA WEC 2026 starts in just over a month time in Qatar, when the Prologue and the 1812 kilometers race will be run at the Lusail International Circuit.
