The 2026 Ferrari is… red

Ferrari AF Corse has presented the livery of the 2026 version of the Ferrari 499P.

To no one’s surprise, its red – with a yellow stripe running over the engine cover, like we have seen for the past seasons. Or as its called in Ferrari language, Rosso Scuderia, but with a slightly glossier version, compared to last year.

The World Champion colors are present on the wind screen visor, with car #51 driven by Antonio Giovinazzi, James Calado, and Alessandro Pier Guidi claiming the Drivers Title, alongside the Manufacturers Title.

The three World Champions will continue in car #51, while car #50 once again will be driven by Nicklas Nielsen, Antonio Fuoco, and Miguel Molina.

That makes it the exact same line-up for the fourth season in a row.

The 2025 season was as close to perfect as it gets in the FIA WEC. Car #50 won the opening round in Qatar, followed by car #51 winning Imola and Spa Francorchamps. It was followed by a win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans by the yellow privateer AF Corse #83. That was the end of the wins for 2025, but #51 was still able to claim the title, ahead of #83, and #50 in third.

There has been success in all their three seasons until now. Car #51 won Le Mans 2023, car #50 won Le Mans 2024 – with car #50 claiming a championship medal in all three seasons.

The yellow privateer Ferrari will have Phil Hanson, Robert Kubica, and Yifei Ye sharing the driving duties, but since it’s a privateer, and not an official works car, despite Hanson and Ye being works drivers, it wasn’t on display nor part of the presentation today. Their livery is usually mirrored to the works car, being predominantly yellow, with a red stripe.

The car is mechanically identical with the 2025 version, but like always, there has been a lot of simulator work going on, with plenty of software development on the LMH car.

The FIA World Endurance Championship 2026 starts on Saturday 28 March at Lusail International Circuit in Qatar.
