Garage 59 reveals WEC liveries

Garage 59 has revealed the liveries on their two McLaren GT3 Evo cars, ahead of their inaugural FIA World Endurance Championship season.

The British team has taken over the two McLaren spots in the LMGT3 category from United Autosports, who will change their focus to the preparations for their LMDh car, which will enter the Hypercar category in 2027.

Garage 59 has been a factory affiliated team for many seasons, with most of the racing happening in the various GT World Challenge series.

Both cars will have black and orange McLaren colors, but will have different colored stripes and mirrors. Car #10 will have silver accents, while car #58 will have blue stipes.

Car 10 is a new interesting combination of the Porsche veteran Antares Au, as well as Tom Fleming and Marvin Kirchhöfer. Au is usually one of the quicker Bronze rated drivers, but that is in a Porsche, so it will be very interesting to see him race this very different car. Kirchhöfer is McLaren factory driver for many years, with Fleming trying to follow his footsteps.

Car #58 will have Bronze-rated Alexander West and Gold-rated Benjamin Goethe, while Finn Gehrsitz will be an ultra fast Silver-ranked driver for another year. Swedish racer West and Danish-German second generation racer Goethe have been with Garage 59 for many years, but German racer Gehrsitz has been in the sportscar world for five years. He previously raced in the Michelin Le Mans Cup, and has been in the European Le Mans Series before going to Akkodis ASP Lexus in the FIA WEC 2025. So he already knows all the tracks, and was part of securing Pole Positions and a podium spot during the season.

The FIA World Endurance Championship 2026 starts on 17-19 April in Imola, after the originally planned opening round in Qatar has been postponed.
