FIA WEC ready with new 2026 schedule

The FIA World Endurance Championship has released a new race schedule for the upcoming 2026 season.

The changes were made due to the ongoing issues in the Middle East, postponing the Prologue and opening round, that were originally planned for Qatar.

The Prologue will instead be run at Imola in Italy, with a single day of practice on 14 April, with the 6 hours race being run on 19 April.

The Qatar round has been pushed back to October, where the 1812 kilometer long race will be run on Saturday 24 October. That leaves one weekend between that, and the 8 hours season finale in Bahrain.
