Peugeot TotalEnergies has signed a new deal with Doriane Pin.
The 22-year-old French racer will be the new Development Driver, and we already know, that she will have her Hypercar debut, at latest, at the Rookie test in Bahrain this coming November.
Pin is one of the current biggest female racing stars in motorsports, and was quickly rolled into the Iron Dames programme. She was part of their GTE programme, and then got a chance to race in LMP2 for Prema Racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
She raced F1 Academy in 2024 and 2025, and won the title in her second season, where she was connected to Mercedes.
The single-seater options has however gone a bit cold, so she will be racing in the European Le Mans Series for Duqueine Team in LMP2 throughout the 2026 season.

Other than the F1 Academy title, she got a Spa 24 Hours win on her CV, when she was part of the Iron Dames programme alongside Michelle Gatting, Rahel Frey, and Sarah Bovy.
The switch to the Peugeot 9X8 model will be something very different, compared to what she has raced so far, since there are a lot of systems in relation to the hybrid system, that needs a lot of tweaking several times during the lap.
Peugeot TotalEnergies previously announced Alex Quinn as test- and development driver for the French outfit. Quinn will also race in the ELMS, but for Nielsen Racing in LMP2 Pro/Am.
Doriane Pin (and Alex Quinn) will have their ELMS season start next week, when the test and first race week of 2026 happens at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain.
