The FIA World Endurance Championship has announced their final entry list for the opening round of the 2026 season, which will run on 19 April at Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, Italy.
We have known all the cars entered in the series for several months, but there are a few changes amongst the drivers, since there is a date clash with the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race at the Long Beach circuit.
Aston Martin THOR Team will run with just two drivers in each car – Harry Tincknell and Tom Gamble in car #007, while Alex Riberas and Marco Sørensen will share #009. Ross Gunn and Roman De Angelis will be sharing their own Aston Martin Valkyrie in the IMSA series.
The same thing happens at BMW M Team WRT, where Dries Vanthoor and Sheldon van der Linde will be sharing the updated BMW M Hybrid V8, while Raffaele Marciello and Kevin Magnussen shares car #15 in the FIA WEC, and Rene Rast and Robin Frijns will share the 6 hours of racing in car #20.

Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA #38 has a single change, since Jack Aitken will be running in Long Beach, while Earl Bamber remains with the team in Imola. He will be replaced in Long Beach by Frederik Vesti, who has been racing with the Action Express team at Daytona and Sebring this year, in the Whelen Cadillac.
Heart of Racing Team Aston Martin #23 will be swapping Eduardo Barrichello with Kobe Pauwells, since Dudu has a full season role with the team in GTD in USA.
And as we heard last week, Blake McDonald will be stand-in for Ben Keating, while the Texan racer recovers from a broken elbow.
The FIA WEC race week starts with the Prologue on Tuesday 14 April, with the 6 hours race itself being run on Sunday 19 April.
