Ligier has announced the first three costumers, for their brand new JS P228 The JS P228 is the new LMP2 car, which will be introduced in 2028, and will replace the current JS P217. The first three costumers are Algarve Pro Racing, Inter Europol Competition and Panis Racing. All three has previous experiences with Ligier, before the LMP2 category basically evolved to be an ORECA-only class, since it turned out that their chassis was the best of the LMP2 cars for the 2017 ruleset.
