Updated schedule and entry list for LM24

Automobile Club de l’Ouest has announced an updated schedule and entry list for the 2020 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. ACO changes FIA WEC, ELMS and LMC schedules

Automobile Club de l’Ouest has announced changes to the FIA World Endurance Championship, European Le Mans Series and Michelin Le Mans Cup schedules. The FIA WEC season has been on pause since 23 February, where they raced the fifth round of the 2019/20 season. The season will be restarted on Saturday 15 August at Spa Francorchamps, with a 6-hour race, originally planned for the end of April. ELMS postpones season opener

The European Le Mans Series has postponed the two first races in Barcelona and Monza. Just like many other race series around the world, the ELMS has chosen to put the 4 Hours of Barcelona at Circuit de Catalunya in April and the 4 Hours of Monza in May. This includes both Michelin Le Mans Cup races at the same circuits. These are not direct cancellations, but the series is working on an alternative calendar. Nielsen sticks to the same pairings

Nielsen Racing will stick to well-known faces in the European Le Mans Series and the Michelin Le Mans Cup. 29 cars have been entered for the Michelin Le Mans Cup 2020 season. The 29 cars are divided into 11 GT3 cars and 18 LMP3 cars. There will be new qualifying rules implemented, when the 24 Hours of Le Mans runs in June 2020. Nicklas Nielsen and Daniel Serra are the new works drivers at Ferrari in their GT Programme.
