Mercedes goes all-in at the 46th running of the Nürburgring 24 Hours this May. A total of 7 Mercedes-AMG GT3 cars will be on starting grid, and that with big names in most of the seats. Manthey Racing will enter two works cars when the Nürburgring 24 Hours will be run in May 2018. That was announced by Porsche during their Night of Champions party. The VLN championship has finalized their 2018 calendar. The calendar consists of 9 weekends just like in 2017, and all but one are 4-hours races. The series will start at on 24 March and finish on 20 October, and there will be two rounds run ahead of the Nürburgring 24 Hours, which is run on 10-13 May.
