The double WTCC champions Citroën starts 2016 at the top of the game. At the first test of the season at Italian Vallelunga, their cars were fastest on both days. On day one, it was a surprising Mehdi Bennani who was fastest of all, ahead of José María López while the newly arrived Volvo and Thed Björk was 3rd fastest.
