Red Bull and ORECA to build new Hydrogen car

Automobile Club de l’Ouest has got another player on their Hydrogen plans in sportscars. ORECA and Red bull Advanced Technologies (RBAT) will develop a sportscar together, that will participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2024. The wording in the ACO press release, is that ORECA and RBAT will build a chassis together, that can be used for the hydrogen technology, that already starts to show in parts of the sportscar world. Cool Racing continues in ELMS

Cool Racing has chosen to make a few changes, and will move their focus towards the European Le Mans Series instead of the world scene. The Swiss outfit won’t be running in the FIA World Endurance Championship for 2021, but will stick to their single LMP2 entry for ELMS, and advance an LMP3 car from Michelin Le Mans Cup to ELMS.
