32 cars ready for Portimao

The FIA World Endurance Championship has 32 cars entered for the 2021 season opener in Portimao. Unfortunately, there won’t be any Glickenhaus at the opening round, since they have opted to sit out. Portimao and Spa without spectators

The FIA World Endurance Championship has announced, that the first two races of 2021 will be without spectators. The decision about the empty grandstands at Portimao and Spa Francorchamps is of course due to the COVID-19 situation, where LMEM, the FIA, and the local authorities already have made this decision. ABB FIA Formula E World Championship Season 7 was started in the dark in Diriyah in Saudi Arabia. Nyck de Vries had taken Pole Position for Mercedes-EQ, ahead of Pascal Wehrlein for TAG Heuer Porsche, while Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler with Rene Rast had been third fastest in the qualifying.
