JOTA will take a step up the prototype ladder in 2023, where the super successful LMP2 and GT3 team will move into the Hypercar category in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
The British team has got one of the brand new Porsche LMDh cars, and is the first confirmed privateer in the FIA WEC with that model. Porsche Penske Motorsport will also bring two works cars.

The car rental company Hertz will be a sponsor of the car, but there are still a lot of details to be revealed. The deal, however, is a three-year programme from 2023 until 2025.
The LMDh cars will be fighting the top category, side by side with the LMH cars from Toyota, Glickenhaus, Peugeot and Ferrari, who also entered the 2023 FIA WEC, which is expected to start at Sebring in March.
