Cadillac Racing will run an extra car for the third round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, which will be run at Spa Francorchamps.
The American team is run by Chip Ganassi Racing, who normally only runs a single FIA WEC entry, but as a warm-up for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, they will run an extra Cadillac V-Series.R.
The team made its debut with the car at the Daytona 24 Hours, where they ran both their regular IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship car, and their FIA WEC.
The Spa Francorchamps race will be run by Frenchman Sebastien Bourdais, and Dutchman racer Renger van der Zande, who returns back to Europe, to compete with 12 other cars in the Hypercar category, racing car #3.
Cadillac took their first win with the new LMDh car at 12 Hours of Sebring, and finished fourth in the FIA WEC race at the very same track, one day prior to that result.
Cadillac Racing #2 will have Richard Westbrook, Earl Bamber and Alex Lynn as their regular line-up for the FIA WEC.
FIA World Endurance Championship will race at the 6 Hours of Spa Francorchamps Saturday 29 April 2023.
