CEFC TRSM Racing has announced the last two drivers for the upcoming FIA World Endurance Championship 2018/19 season in car #5.
It’s going to be Brit Dean Stoneman and Frenchman Leo Roussel, who will share the brand new Ginetta G60-LT-P1 Mecachrome # with Charlie Robertson.
The team has brought both cars for this week’s Prologue at Paul Ricard, but only #6 had the full design applied today. As of 14.00 on the Friday, the car #5 haven’t done any laps at all.
Alex Brundle was announced earlier this week as a teammate to Oliver Rowland in #6.
All 5 drivers are present at Paul Ricard, where they will participate in the 15-hour test. They have opted not to run over night, since the car is still relatively new. But with two cars present, they will hopefully still get a lot of miles done.
The team had hoped to already have the full line-up announced, but their potential 6th driver, Robert Kubica, decided to say no-thanks, and instead focus on the test- and reserve driver job at Williams in Formula 1. So they still need one driver, with an announcement expected in the very near future.
