DTM delivers super Sunday race

DTM delivered some of the best racing for year, when the second race of the weekend was run at Hockenheim. Timo Glock had qualified his BMW M4 DTM on Pole Position ahead of Rene Rast in Audi RS5 DTM and the rookie Joel Eriksson in BMW M4 DTM. Edoardo Mortara was the best Mercedes man in P4, while yesterday’s winner Gary Paffett was all the way back in P10. Jamie Green had to start from the pitlane due to the team having issues refuelling his car ahead of the race.…

Good IMSA race at Mid-Ohio

After a 5-year break, the highest ranked US sports car racing series was back at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course near Lexington. While especially the Friday was wet, the weather on Saturday and Sunday for the fourth round of the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship 2018 was a lot better. Acura Team Penske had qualified 1-2 followed by the two Mazda Team Joest cars with #7 ahead of #6, #77 and #55.
