Fabio Scherer will be the new third driver at High Class Racing in 2022. The 22-year-old Swiss driver will race in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship 2022 in LMP2, alongside Dennis Andersen and Anders Fjordbach. Scherer made his LMP2 debut in 2021, where he was hired by United Autosports, for an FIA World Endurance Championship programme. The season ended with a victory in Bahrain. Magnus Racing will once again change its car brand for the 2022 season. The American sportscar team will compete in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in 2022, but that will be onboard an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 in the GTD category.
