The Asian Le Mans Series has chosen to compress their 2020/21 schedule. It won’t be on the number of races, but the number of tracks, and the duration from Round 1 to Round 4. The original plan was to start at Suzuka in Japan, followed by Shanghai, but the organizers had chosen to cancel those two events. Automobile Club de l’Ouest has released the time table for this years 24 Hours of Le Mans. The time table for the 2020 edition had some quite significant changes anyway, compared to previous years, with the new Hyperpole concept being introduced, where the drivers only have a few laps to set a time, in of the previous years where they typically has had 6 hours or more to put in their best lap. Asian Le Mans Series has released what they are hoping to be the 2020/21 schedule. Everything is a bit up in the air at the moment due to the COVID-19 situation, and that has had some influence on the schedule too. No Le Mans test day in 2020

The ACO has announced there won’t be any test day ahead of the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2020. The reasoning is down to logistical difficulties, with the 24 hours for motorcycles running on the last weekend of August. The 24 hours car race is slated to run just three weeks later. The Le Mans week will start on 13 and 14 September with scrutineering of the cars. The exact location isn’t confirmed just yet. The 24 Hours of Le Mans for sportscars has been moved to September 2020. The change is down to the COVID-19 virus, which has impacted all motorsport plans during this springtime. The race will run on 19-20 September, which will have an influence on the Silverstone race, which was scheduled as the start of the 2020/21 season of FIA WEC. Eurasia makes early European appearance

Eurasia Motorsport will be arriving early in Europe, ahead of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The team with Philippines roots have decided to enter the 6 Hours of Spa Francorchamps on 25 April, before continuing to France for the 24 hours race, for which they received the entry a week ago. Entry list for Le Mans 2020 revealed

The entry list for the 88th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans has been announced tonight, and that was without any major surprises. There will once again be 62 cars entered, with the two tents at the start of the pitlane being erected again, while the rest of the teams will be allowed to stay in the permanent concrete garages. There was excitement until the very final lap of the Asian Le Mans Series 2019/20 season finale, which was run at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand. After a busy and very wet Saturday at the third round of Asian Le Mans Series at Sepang circuit in Malaysia, the team moved north to drive for the second week in a row. There will be four substitutes present in the six GT cars at the Asian Le Mans Series 2020/21 season finale this weekend in Buriram. The four replacements are due to the date clash with the FIA World Endurance Championship, which is run at Circuit Of The Americas. It was a very special four hours race at Sepang circuit in Malaysia when the third round of Asian Le Mans Series 2019/20 was run. The qualifying to the 2019/20 season’s third round of Asian Le Mans Series was run at Sepang track in Malaysia. The 23 teams were lucky to start in the sunshine, which certainly wouldn’t last. Asian Le Mans Series is getting ready for the third round of the 2019/20 championship, which will be held on 15 February in Malaysia. The race will be the first Asian LMS race finishing after sunset. Asian Le Mans Series will move their opening round of 2020/21 by one week. This is the new round at the Suzuka Circuit, being moved to 29 November 2020, to avoid a date clash with the classic event in Macau, where GT3, Formula 3 cars and others are competing. There will be new qualifying rules implemented, when the 24 Hours of Le Mans runs in June 2020. There are significant changes to the Wednesday and Thursday in race week, to add even more excitement, but with added practice time for the teams. Two practice sessions will be held on Wednesday. The qualifying for the opening round of the Asian Le Mans Series 2019/20 was run at the Shanghai International Circuit in China. A good field of 9 GT cars were the first on track, for their 15 minutes of qualifying. The official full season entry list for the Asian Le Mans Series 2019/20 has been revealed, one week prior to the season opener. 26 cars have entered the season, and hopefully they will be with us all the way until the season finale.
