Audi ready with driver pairings in DTM

Audi Sport has previously announced the six drivers who will compete for them in DTM 2017.

Now they are ready with the driver parings at the teams.

It will be two different teams who will run their DTM programme this year.

Mattias Ekström will continue at Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline where he’ll have Nico Müller as a new teammate. Ekström (car number 5) will continue with Red Bull on his car, while Müller (51) will keep Playboy as his primary sponsor.

Mike Rockenfeller (99) will stay at Audi Sport Team Phoenix, where he once again will sport the yellow and green Schaeffler colors. His new teammate will be Loic Duval (77), who will drive a Castrol EDGE painted Audi RS 5 DTM.

Jamie Green (53) will get another season at Audi Sport Team Rosberg, where he just like 2016 will have Hoffmann Group on the side of his car. Rene Rast (33) who got an impressive start to his DTM career as a replacement in 2016, will run with Auto Bild Motorsport on his car.

In a little over one week time all the DTM teams will head to Portimao in Portugal to do the first test of the season, ahead of the season start in May.
