Jackie Chan DC Racing will enter the Daytona 24 Hours in January with a super line-up in one of their two cars.
Daniel Juncadella, Robin Frijns, Felix Rosenqvist, and Lance Stroll will pilot one of the cars, that will open the season in the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Drivers in the other car will been announced shortly.
Daniel Juncadella has experience from Formula 3 and DTM amongst many other series, but has lately done a lot of GT racing for Mercedes. He is one of the very best GT drivers in the world, and even though a lot of racing fans might not know him, if they only follow Formula 1 and Le Mans, he is the real deal.
Robin Frijns has a career very similar to Juncadella but has a World Series 3,5 title on the CV. Recently he has been doing Formula E but didn’t get a seat in the upcoming season. Furthermore he races in all kind of GT3 races for Audi, including endurance races like Spa and Nürburgring too.

Felix Rosenqvist might be the best single-seater driver who currently isn’t in Formula 1. The Swede has won everything on his way so far, including the FIA Formula 3 title, F3 Masters ad the Macau Grand Prix. He has won races in Indy Lights and Formula E, where he finished third in the Championship last season. He has had a go at DTM and Super Formula too, plus a lot of other racing. He was very close at getting an IndyCar contract, but has opted to look elsewhere – at least until now.
A driver who has a Formula 1 experience is Lance Stroll. He has just completed his first season for the Williams Formula 1 team in 2017 but was already competing at the Daytona 24 Hours race in 2016, where he shared a Daytona Prototype with Alex Wurz, Brendon Hartley, and Andy Priaulx at Ford Chip Ganassi Racing.
Jackie Chan DC Racing will enter two ORECA 07 Gibson cars, which the team already knows in and out from their FIA WEC season, and not to forget, their LMP2 victory at Le Mans, and very close to the overall win too.
The Daytona 24 Hours will be run on 27-28 January.
