Molitor Racing Systems, or in short MRS GT-Racing, has pulled a rabbit out of a hat.
The team has just announced their two drivers for the ADAC GT Masters 2019, only two days before the season starts.
Jens Klingmann will continue at the German team in their BMW M6 GT3, which is the only representative from the German brand in the series. Klingmann is a BMW works driver, so he is a natural choice for the seat.
Hi co-driver will be young Danish driver Nicolai Sylvest, who switches from Team Zakspeed and Mercedes, after three seasons in their car. Sylvest had been out testing for them throughout the spring, so it was a bit of a shock, when they all of a sudden announced four other names for their cars. So it’s very positive for him to get the new deal.
MRS GT-Racing had Klingmann and Peter Terting in the car during the ADAC GT Masters test- and press day earlier this month, and everything pointed towards that combo for this year.
ADAC GT Masters starts the season in Oschersleben this weekend, where Race 1 will be run on Saturday, and Race 2 on Sunday afternoon. Both races will be streamed on ADAC-GT-Masters.de with German and English commentary.
