The European Le Mans Series and Michelin Le Mans Cup have the same 6 events on the schedule in 2020, as in 2019 – but with some changes.
The last two seasons had started at Paul Ricard in France, but that will be Circuit de Catalunya in Spain, which gets the honour of hosting the Prologue and the first round.
That will happen in the first week of April, while Monza runs one month later. The majority of the teams will have a two months break, so there are room for the few selected teams to go to the 24 Hours of Le Mans plus Michelin Le Mans Cup teams, before the full package returns to Paul Ricard in July.
Silverstone is placed on the first weekend of September, and will be followed by Spa Francorchamps in Belgium, two weeks later. Silverstone however is without LMC, since they participate at the Road to Le Mans event.
The season ends, like traditions dictate, in Portugal on the Portimao track at the end of October.
All races will be four hours, and but there is not yet info about the starting times of the races, and if there potentially will be an evening race at one or more rounds, like we saw in Spain this year.
The full schedule looks like this:
