TF with new combination in ELMS

TF Sport will enter a brand new driver combination in the European Le Mans Series 2023.

The British Aston Martin team has a long history in both ELMS and FIA WEC, and that will continue in the new year as well.

Aston Martin works driver Vaelin Hasse Clot will have brothers Maxime and Arnold Robin as teammates in the V8 Vantage GTE car.

That will be a brand new experience for all of them. Valentin has only raced GT4 and GT3 cars for the British brand until now, but the GT3 and GTE models are very similar – but without ABS on the GTE version. Maxime and Arnold has experience from LMP3 and LMP2racing, where they previously raced for GRAFF. They moved into GT3 racing in 2022 with WRT in an Audi, which they raced in GT World Challenge Europe, in addition to the Road To Le Mans race prior to the 24 hours race in France. They do have a single start at the 24 hours race itself, with GRAFF in 2021.

The final design of the car will be released at a later stage.

TF Sport has loads of wins and championships throughout the past seasons. They have primarily raced in GTE and GT3, but is also running the Racing Team Turkey programme in LMP2. That programme will go to the 24 hours race in Daytona next month, while the rest of the 2023 plans for them haven’t been announced yet.

The European Le Mans Series 2023 starts on 23 April in Barcelona, with testing happening in the days leading into the race itself.
