Sophia Flörsch first driver at BWT Mücke Motorsport

Sophia Flörsch has been announced as the first driver at BWT Mücke Motorsport in ADAC Formula 4 2017.

The 16 year-old racing driver had a mixed debut season in Formula 4 in 2016, where she participated for Team Motopark. She’d led a race, but often she was unlucky in the midfield where there often were contact with other drivers.

She impressed everybody in 2015, when she gave the all boys a lesson in the hard Ginetta Junior Championship in Great Britain. She had overall wins and was 2nd in the championship when she decided to drop out and focus on her 2016 ADAC Formula 4 preparations.

In 2017 she will drive for the team who had big names like Sebastian Vettel, Pascal Wehrlein, Sergio Perez, Robert Kubica, Markus Winkelhock, Sébastian Buemi, Philip Eng and Maximilian Götz in their cars.

The ADAC Formula 4 car she will driving in are, like all the others in the German series, a Tatuus with a 1,4 liter Abarth turbo engine on 160 bhp at a minimum weight at 570kg. The car has a top speed of approx. 210 kph.
