Robert Alon new JDC driver

The JDC Miller Motorsports team have five of their six drivers in place for the upcoming WeatherTech SportsCar Championship 2018.

27 year-old Robert Alon will share car #85 with Simon Trummer, and a not yet confirmed third driver.

Alon raced for Lexus in their GTD program during the 2017 season, but he has experience from prototype racing from the Prototype Challenge class.

The ORECA 07 Gibson car will be some of the fastest and mostly advanced machinery that the American racing driver has ever raced. But with a teammate like Trummer, with plenty of experience from LMP1 among many other things, he will have a great teammate, who has just completed a full season in a ORECA 07 Gibson for the CEFC Manor TRS team in the FIA WEC.

Robert Alon got his first taste of the car two weeks ago during the BOP test at Daytona, and he instantly felt comfortable in the closed prototype.

His next chance to drive the car will be during the ROAR test at Daytona on 5-7 January.
