ABB FIA Formula E Championship has chosen to postpone the race in Rome.
The race was planned to go ahead on the fourth of April on the streets of Rome, but due to the COVID-19 outbreak in Italy in particular, there has been a dialogue between the series and the local authorities, and they took the decision not to race.
The press release from the series states that work for an alternative date is ongoing, but with a compact Formula E calendar in the coming months, it’s unlikely to happen in the 2019/20 season.
The race in Sanya, China was already cancelled weeks ago.
The next race, at least at the moment, is planned in Paris on 18 April 2020.
