TDS Racing announces two great additions

TDS Racing has announced the drivers next to Steven Thomas in the upcoming IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship 2023 at the endurance rounds

American Thomas moves over from PR1 Mathiasen Motorsport, which he drove for in the 2022 season. He met two drivers, who were racing car #52, and have won the Michelin Endurance Cup for the past two seasons.

The names are Mikkel Jensen and Scott Huffaker. They were paired up with Ben Keating, and the Dane and the American have been almost untouchable when the car ran without issues, and when penalties and contact had been avoided.

Despite his obvious speed, we might count Huffaker as one of the most underrated drivers in LMP2 racing for the past couple of seasons, but he has always delivered behind the wheel.

Jensen has delivered no matter what he drove – no matter if it was an LMP3 in 2019, where he won the ELMS title, in 2020 and 2021 when he raced LMP2 in the ELMS, finishing the year off with a victory, or this year where he finished second in ELMS GTE, along with the Hypercar programme for Peugeot TotalEnergies. Add to that, all his IMSA starts, where 10 of the 13 races has ended on the podium.

The team hasn’t announced the fourth driver for Daytona in January, nor who will race full-season alongside Steven Thomas.

The Rolex 24 at Daytona 2023 starts with the ROAR test on 20-22 January, with the 24 hours race being held the following weekend.
