Bernhard disqualified – Land inherits the win

KÜS Team75 Bernhard #17 has been disqualified from the ADAC GT Masters race 1 at the Sachsenring. That was announced by the DMSB today. The team raced under appeal, when the scrutineers found some tape on the rear wing of their Porsche 911 GT3 R, which closed a gap between some of the elements, making it more aerodynamic. That tape wasn’t a part of the homologation of the car, and therefore not allowed to be on the car. Both cars from the Bernhard team and the Precote Herberth Motorsport Porsche…

A lot of crashes in the Saturday’s race

Bernhard: I think it’s a quite cool thing

Porsche drove an amazing time at the famous Nürburgring Nordschleife, where their Porsche 919 Evo did a 5:19,55, which is almost one minute faster than the official track record that Stefan Bellof did in a Porsche 956 C back in 1983. Since the lap today wasn’t set during a race, but under a test, this doesn’t count as a new lap record, but it’s still an impressive time that Timo Bernhard did in a slightly modified Le Mans winning car. During the Le Mans week, Racing24-7.net had the chance to…
