A huge total of 61 cars has entered this year’s Rolex 24 at Daytona, which will run on 29-30 January 2022. The field consists of 7 DPi cars, with Cadillac and two Acura cars, with top drivers in all cars. BMW Team RLL has announced the drivers for the 2022 edition of the 24 hours race in Daytona. Six of the 2021 drivers has been called back once again, but there is a shakeup in the pairings. One turns into two, turns into three Weathertech cars for the Rolex 24 at Daytona 2022, later this month. WeatherTech Racing already has a Porsche and Mercedes entered in the GTD Pro category under their own name, and now a title sponsorship on another Mercedes-AMG GT3. Cadillac Chip Ganassi Racing has announced their plans prior to the 2022 season in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Renger van der Zande and Sebastien Bourdais will be sharing Cadillac DPi-V.R #01 for the full 2022 season.
