Team Peugeot-Hansen with three cars in 2017

Team Peugeot-Hansen will enter three cars in the FIA World Rallycross Championship 2017. Sebastien Loeb, Kevin Hansen and Timmy Hansen will steer the 3 Peugeot 208 WRX Supercars through all rounds. Sebastien and Timmy were already teammates last year, while Kevin was driving in the sister team Peugeot-Hansen Academy. Prodrive building Renault Megane for WorldRX

Prodrive will build a brand new FIA World Rallycross Championship car. The big British racing car manufacturer has made a deal with Guerlain Chicherit to create a Supercar based on a Renault Megane IV. The real car will be presented at the French round of WorldRX at Loheac on September 1st 2017. The car will be thourughly tested througout the fall 2017, before it will enter real events from 2018 onwards. Swede Kevin Eriksson will join Timo Scheider at MJP Racing Team Austria. By that he leaves the family team but will however continue in a Ford Fiesta for the Austrian team. Andreas Bakkerud took the final victory of the FIA World Rallycross Championship of the season in Argentina. It was a big, Swedish day at the FIA World Rallycross Championship Round 11 that was held at Estering in Buxtehude, Germany. Audi Sport has chosen to let Mattias Ekström go and hunt his title hunt in FIA World Rallycross Championship, instead of participating at the DTM finale at Hockenheim.
